IndiGo, India’s largest and most trusted passenger airline, is inviting applications for the position of Principal Business Solutions – SuccessFactors (HR Automation). This senior leadership role is based in Gurgaon and plays a pivotal part in driving IndiGo’s digital HR transformation journey.
With a fleet of 320+ aircraft, 2,000+ daily flights, and a growing network of 118 destinations, IndiGo continues to expand rapidly. About the Role
The Principal Business Solutions – SuccessFactors will act as the Digital Business Partner for HR, leading HR automation and technology initiatives across the organization. This role is ideal for an experienced HR technology leader capable of designing and delivering enterprise-level HR systems, especially SAP SuccessFactors.
This is a strategic position where the selected candidate will closely collaborate with HR, Digital, Infrastructure, and Security teams to ensure smooth, scalable, and future-ready HR operations.
Key Responsibilities
1. HR Transformation & Digital Strategy
- Act as a trusted technology advisor to HR leadership.
- Align HR digital initiatives with organizational goals.
- Drive process automation, standardization, and efficiency across HR functions.
- Ensure compliance with internal audits, data privacy, and statutory standards.
- Monitor system performance and user adoption to continuously improve digital experiences.
2. SAP SuccessFactors Ownership
- Lead end-to-end implementation and upgrades of SAP SuccessFactors.
- Oversee HR tech architecture, data flows, and integration with third-party platforms.
- Manage change requests, release cycles, and environment controls (DEV/QA/PROD).
- Ensure robust master data governance and system accuracy.
3. Long-Term SAP SuccessFactors Roadmap
- Create and execute a multi-year HR tech strategy.
- Plan rollouts of new modules and system enhancements.
- Explore next-generation digital tools like AI/ML, chatbots, and BTP extensions.
- Set up strong governance and lifecycle management frameworks.
4. People Leadership
- Lead and mentor HR tech experts, project managers, and analysts.
- Build a high-performing digital HR team with a culture of innovation and ownership.
- Support career development and skill-building aligned with HR tech trends.
5. Integration & Vendor Management
- Ensure seamless integration of SuccessFactors with enterprise systems.
- Coordinate with SAP partners, vendors, and support teams.
- Conduct cross-functional workshops for requirement analysis and solution alignment.
Required Skills & Experience
- 15+ years in HR technology, digital transformation, or enterprise HR system leadership.
- Strong expertise in SAP SuccessFactors or Workday (Employee Central, Recruitment, LMS, PMS, Compensation, etc.).
- Salary ₹40,000 to over ₹300,000 per month.
- Deep understanding of HR processes, compliance, and enterprise architecture.
- Proven experience leading large-scale HR tech programs.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in HR, IT, Engineering, or related fields.
- SAP SuccessFactors certifications.
- Experience in aviation, logistics, or other large-scale industries.
